Harper's End of Summer Party in the Park With Mud Kitchen & Crafts
Get ready to celebrate the end of summer with a fun-filled family day at Harper’s Café in Victoria Park, Ashford!
We’re bringing together mud, messy fun, creative activities and tasty food for an exciting day out that the whole family can enjoy.
Children can get stuck into our Mud Kitchen, where they can mix, create, experiment and embrace the mess. They can also let their imaginations run wild during our craft sessions, with plenty of opportunities to get creative and make something to take home.
And, of course, no party is complete without food! Our special £10 all-inclusive ticket gives your child access to both the Mud Kitchen and craft sessions, plus a tasty lunchbox to enjoy.

Join us for two fun-filled hours of old-school sports day fun. Think sack and egg and spoon races, bean bag tosses and more. It’s a great way for children and families to get active, play together, and enjoy some friendly competition.
This lively session is designed to be inclusive and fun for all ages, with a mix of simple games, team challenges, and classic races that everyone can take part in. It’s all about participation, teamwork, and having a great time together outdoors.

FREE Nature Trail Scavenger Hunt
Join us for a fun outdoor adventure this spring with our Nature Trail Scavenger Hunt in Victoria Park. Perfect for curious kids and families who enjoy exploring the outdoors together.
Visit the till at the cafe and collect your activity sheet, then head out into the park to follow the trail, answer the nature-themed questions and see what you can spot along the way. Once you’ve completed the trail, return to the café with your activity sheet and collect your quiz. It’s the perfect excuse to stop in for a drink or bite to eat while you’re here.
At home, children can use what they’ve collected and the activity sheet to create their own nature mobile.
When your mobile is finished, tag Harper’s Café on Facebook with a photo of your creation.

Join us on Saturday 21st June for a colourful family-friendly Pride BBQ celebration filled with fun activities, great food, and plenty of community spirit.

Pancake Day Trail
Celebrate Pancake Day with our fun-filled Pancake Day Trail, running from 10am–2pm! Pick up your mystery quiz from the till inside the café and head out around the park to solve the clues. Once you’ve completed the trail, return your sheet to the café to claim your delicious pancake reward.
Choose your favourite toppings from fresh fruit, lemon, sugar, cinnamon, syrup and Nutella, and enjoy a well-earned treat after your adventure. A perfect activity for families and little explorers – come and have a flipping good time!
